A year older....birthday chapter

Happy Birthday to myself... am one year older again... well this birthday was a quiet one...Guess it's the time of the year. The people around me are busy and so am i.. Did the usual of cutting cake with my family(but i really still appreciate it every year we do it) on thurs. On fri, i specially postponed tuition in order to be able to spend the evening out.. but yh is busy in camp and looking at the deadlines on the following week, i jus went home after GB. Haha.. remember my last year's birthday was on G12 too.. but i guess to remember the creator who made you on this special day, it is nice to jus serve HIm on this day. When i went home, my parents were out too(went for Pastor Khong's magic show) so i jus 'da bao' some food downstirs and ate it.. well did want to try to get nicer food.. to make myself feel happier... even wanted to at least wear sth nicer but jus settled with the GB top, also had this discount card thing which entitles me to privilege at a cafe if i bring 5 friends to dine there.. but cldn't find the pple to go.. was really looking forward to this day.. but it jus seemed to pass so quickly.. in the past, i would feel really disappointed if no one celebrated with me and things din turn out as well.. haha.. will feel kinda unloved maybe cos that's my love lang.. but not that i dun feel anything.. i guess melissa has grown in security.. :) however hope that it will be a better one next year..

Some sweet surprises:
1)that kai, my tution kid actually remembered my birthday and he was telling me how excited he was when it was approaching, and he wrote it on his calendar.
2) the GB girls gave me a card and sang me a song. and some guides pple also wished me..
3) that the two youngest girls in my ministry, SR and S actually remembered my birthday and passed my mum the present to pass to me.. so sweet.. cos they even message me and asked me about it.. plus they the pple whom i dun really spend as much time with..
4)that some pple remembered my birthday and smsed me
5)that my sec sch frns and i had a great time of catching up with my birthday as an excuse to meet up ..: P
6)that nadine called me from overseas and talked close to half an hour with me..
7)that my pri/sec sch friend also gave me a call to wish me.. a friend whom i neva ever remembered his birthday.. but without fail he always remembers and posts me stuff.. in case you may ask why i am so heartless, it's cos he's a guy.. hahaha
8) that my dear church friend sent me a letter..
9)for my parents that they cut cake with me and even prayed for me.. this is the first time they are praying for me. and yesterday dad suddenly said he wanted to pray bout the armour of GOd-haha can you imagine he actually wrote his 'script' but somehow din.. coincidentally.. the subzone also gave me an 'armour of GOd' i guess this is wad GOd wans to speak to me too...
10) the subzone gave me a huge card and some gifts plus the armour of GOd and a cake.. with cream... :) thanks celebraters for doing such a great job in the card and prep of gifts.. realli see the effort...thanks..
11) Charm C who gave me a card and a note she wrote.. tho' she was really pai seh abt it, it was really cute..:)
12)YH who rushed to my place for jus an hour plus to give me flowers and a cake.. (he's really busy)
yeah.. so there are things to thank GOd for.. especially when the blessings come from pple you least expect.:)
