Hero....
Just an essay that i got kai to do.. and which i did on my own...

"Different people have different perceptions towards the notion of a "hero/heroine". It could be superman, batman, cat woman or just a next door neighbor who impresses you." Share: What does a hero/heroine mean to you?? Who is the hero/heroine of your life, why is he/her your hero? How are you inspired to be a hero?

To me, a hero need not possess special powers or look like some superstar, just like how the normal heroes are portrayed in the movies. In the movies, heroes often save damsels from distress and that in a way reflects my idea of a hero. My hero is one who knows that strong as I may look on the outside, I am just a vulnerable damsel within.

Instead of just telling you straight who my hero is, I will give you some characteristics of my hero, and hopefully, if you know me well enough, you will be able to decipher who my hero is.

My hero has strong arms- he uses them to catch me when I fall, in the downs of my life; he lifts me with his mighty arms which can hold up the weight of all my burdens. Do not belittle these strong arms, for they are also used to embrace me each time I cry and "fall" emotionally.

My hero has the ability to read my doubts, my fears, and my worries and to feel my pain, my sorrow and my happiness. He doesn't stand from afar to feel and read, but he stands beside me to support me, behind me to motivate me on, ahead of me to lead me. He knows all my feelings without a single word from me and he seeks to comfort and love me.

My hero runs that extra mile for me to see the smile on my face with his strong legs. He would go up a mountain and down into the deep blue sea just to show he cares.

I can just go on and on to share every detail about my hero, but no matter how well I use words to write about Him, no one can fully understand what I see in this Hero unless he/she knows him personally, to understand the price he had paid, for even people who have yet to know Him. The final question to you is, "Do you know Him yet?"

I just love this piece SO MUCH because in it I see the reality of Him in your life! Really encourages me to know that in this life there is something greater to look forward to...
